Founder and Executive Director
Hi, I’m JT. I’m a husband and father. I have a passion for fishing, teaching fishing and for talking with people of all ages! I worked as a behavior specialist in the Durham Public Schools for about 20 years. While there, I started a boys program called SONS, to assist students of any background with building self-esteem, good character, goal-setting and skills for success in life. The program earned the 2013 Lamplighter Award for the impact it had on youth in the community.
My goal is to continue impacting lives of youth and adults through this fishing experience. The outings are intended to give each person a chance to take a relaxing break from the hurry and stress of everyday life. It’s a blessing for me when I see the excitement and enthusiasm of my customers after each trip!

I am a husband and father of three, deacon at White Oak Baptist Church, and general manager of a retail store. I have a passion for helping others. I love a good laugh, a good movie, and especially good fishing! Fishing is my source of serenity & escape, and I look forward to helping others enjoy this too!
Hi, I am Sue. I’m wife to JT, parent to three awesome kids, pediatrician during the week, and part-time fisher-woman on weekends. I help with the bookkeeping for Casting Your Cares Fishing. I’m excited to see all of the happy customers, and pray that many more will get to enjoy both joy and relaxation on the water!
